How to factory default W60B/W70B

In certain situations, it can be necessary to reset the Base Station to Factory Defaults.

There are 2 ways to achieve this:

  • Hard Reset, without logging into the Web Interface of the device.
    • Usually required when Web Interface can't be accessed, or password is not known.
  • Soft Reset using the Web Interface of the device.

Please NOTE: Resetting your phone to Factory Defaults will Destroy all configuration data!

Hard Reset

In order to reset a Yealink DECT Base to the Default Values using Hard Reset, please perform the following steps:

1. Unplug the power supply (DC5V Cable or Network Cable)

2. Press the Paging Button, keep it pressed until further notice

3. Plug in the power supply, observe the LED indicator lights, while still pressing the Paging Button

4. Once all 3 lights are constantly up, release the Paging Button and restart the Base,

by unplugging the power supply (DC5V Cable or Network Cable)

Soft Reset

If a Factory Reset is required, even the device can be accessed via the Web User Interface, a 'Soft Reset' can be performed using the devices' Web Interface.

Find the devices' IP address under: Handset menu->Status->Base submenu

(if no Handset is registered, contact your IT)

Enter the IP address into the address bar of your browser:

Once the Web Gui did load, enter the credentials admin/password (default is admin/admin)

(if you don't know the password or admin/admin doesn't work, check with your IT)

Head to Settings - Upgrade - Reset to Factory Settings

Confirm the Factory reset request.

After the reboot log into the phone using admin/admin
