Backup and Restore Using the 3CX PBX Express

First, we need to deploy the instance on the same license key, once deployed you can restore the backup from the management console.


 Once the server is set up, navigate to the 3CX management console then to 'Backup and Restore'



We then need to connect 3CX to a supported 'Location' (FTP, SFTP, Google Cloud, or locally) 


Once connected, upload your backup to that location.

Once the backup has been uploaded, it should be listed as a file. Select the file, then click 'restore', 'OK'



This can take a while depending on the file size.
