What settings do I use to connect to Aatrox (Generic)

Aatrox Communications trunks can be set up an any SIP device and or Gateway.


General SIP Settings

  • SIP Domain - nsip.aatroxcommunications.com.au (Please confirm on your SIP confirm provided)
  • Port 5060
  • SIP 2.0 via UDP or TCP
  • RTP via UDP
  • DTMF RFC2833

SIP registration is supported, we suggest expires of 60 minutes when using a static IP address. You should enable DNS SRV/NAPTR lookups when setting up your SIP device.


Caller ID

All calls need to be presented with a valid phone number (10 Digit 0NSN, or E614 format) as CallerID for all calls. We support the P-Asserted Identity with the Privacy field (RFC3325), the SIP From field and Remote Party ID as sources of CallerID.


Our CallerID format preference:

PAI (P-Asserted Identify - RFC3325)

Remote Party ID

From field


Unless authorised by our support team, customers can only use numbers on their account as valid CallerID. If you wish to use other numbers, proof of ownership must be provided by emailing support@aatroxcommunications.com.au


We support the below codec's on our voice network


1    G722 - Wideband codec supported (The best quality)

2    G711a - A-law codec supported (Excellent quality)

3    G729 - Codec supported (Good quality)

4    G711u - U-law codec supported (Excellent quality)
