Sending Fax using Email (Outlook):
Sending a Fax is fairly simple. In your mail-program select 'New Email':
Into the 'To' field enter the customers' Fax number in national Format followed by '@fax.aatroxcommunications.com.au' OR '@fax.aatrox.com.au' e.g. 0312345678@fax.aatroxcommunications.com.au OR 0312345678@fax.aatrox.com.au
Leave the Subject field BLANK, unless you defined a Passphrase needs to be applied.
Once this is done you can add the file you want to Fax. The following filetypes can be used:
- Postscript .PS
- TIFF
Choose the 'Add' option in your Mail program and go to the folder your file has been stored.
- Additionally, you can fax the document to multiple fax numbers by simply adding multiple recipients to your email. (e.g. 0312345678@fax.aatrox.com.au; 0298765432@fax.aatrox.com.au; ....)
- Also ensure to leave the Email body blank, No Signature to be added!
Fax Reports:
- Our Digital Fax service will send you an email when the fax has been sent confirming the delivery and details.
- You will also receive an email with the relevant details if the fax fails and the reason for this.
