Installing Yealink USB Connect


Whether you use a Yealink Headset in combination with a Desk Phone or with a PC it is required to have Yealink USB Connect installed on your computer in order to update the firmware on your Yealink Headset.

(Does NOT apply to YHS34 & YHS33!)



Installing the Yealink USB Connect software:


Head to Yealink support and choose the version required (choose the latest always) for Windows or Mac



Once downloaded, head to the download location and double-click on the executable file:



Wait while the Setup Wizard prepares the setup:



Accept the EU license agreement and click 'Next':


Choose 'Next' again:


Keep the default installation location and confirm with 'Next':


Confirm the start of the installation by pressing 'Install':


If you get asked by the Windows 'User Account Control' to allow the installation of the Software, confirm with 'Yes'.


If in a next step you are asked to allow 'Microsoft .NET' to make changes, confirm with 'Yes'.


Once the setup is finished, ensure the box 'Launch Yealink USB Connect' is ticked and click on 'Finish':
