How long will a number port take?

When you move to Aatrox we want the process to be as smooth and with as little interruption as possible.

What is porting?‍

Porting is the process of transferring your phone numbers from one provider to another.

How long will it take?

Please see the porting time frames below:

CAT-A, Category A or a Simple Port

CAT-A ports are simple, standalone phone numbers. They have no other numbers or services registered against them. These numbers use an automated porting process, which means we are usually able to port within 7 working days of submitting the porting request.

CAT-C, Category C or a Complex Port

The CAT-C port process when porting a batch of numbers (eg, 10, 50 or 100 Number range), or when porting a number that is associated with more complex products, like any of the following:

Line Hunt.

Telstra DOT plans.

Additional numbers.

Internet is attached to the number.

CAT-C ports require validation and a longer lead-in time - Porting CAT-C numbers take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to complete.
