How to add an Inbound Rule (DID Rule) in the 3CX Management Console 

For each trunk, port or PSTN gateway, 3CX can route calls depending on the Direct Inward Dialing number (DID). DID numbers are usually assigned to your SIP trunk. You will need to set this up if you have staff assigned personal numbers.

Step:

A.      Login to your 3CX Phone System Management Console and enter the required information.

B.      On 3CX Phone System Management Console.

1.       Click Inbound Rules

2.       On inbound Rules group. Click Add DID Rule.

For General Groups:

3.       Enter the Name for the Rule.

4.       Enter the DID/DDI for the Rule.

For Route calls to Group:

5.       Select from the Drop list for your desired Destination of Call during Office hours.

6.       Select/Enter needed information.

7.       Select from the Drop list for your desired Destination of Call outside Office hours.

8.       Select/Enter needed information.

9.       Click OK to apply Changes.

C.      Exit from 3CX Phone System Management Console.
