How to configure that an extension uses a custom voicemail greeting for a specific status

3CX lets you set a customer voicemail greeting based on the extension status for example if you are on lunch, you can let callers know this and give them the option to leave a message.

Step:

1. Login to your 3CX Phone System Management Console and enter required information.

2. On 3CX Phone System Management Console. 

1. Click Extensions.

1. Select Extension. 
2. Click Edit. 

1. Click Forwarding Rules Tab.

1. In Greeting Group, click Add. (This will add your vmail greetings).

1. Browse for the location of the vmail greeting. Select and click Open to add the vmail.

1. Make sure vmail has been added.

1. Click OK to apply changes.

3. Logout from 3CX Phone System Management Console.
