Disabling an extension is most commonly used when a staff member leaves an organization, but you want to keep their recording, call logs, and activity for a period of time. When disabled the extension will not be able to log on, mark or receive calls.
Step:
- Log in to your 3CX Phone System Management Console and enter the required information.
- On 3CX Phone System Management Console.
- Click Extensions.
- Select Extension.
- Click Edit.
- Click the Options tab.
- Select Disable Extension. This will allow you to disable the extension
- Click OK to apply changes.
- Logout from 3CX Phone System Management Console.
